A top Australian epidemiologist says Victoria has a "narrow window of opportunity" to eradicate coronavirus through an elimination strategy if stage four restrictions are urgently put in place.
University of Melbourne public health expert professor Tony Blakely said a complete shut-down may be successful in 'eliminating' the virus – allowing us to almost return to a pre-COVID way of life.
Professor Blakely described the state as on a "knife's edge".
Scott, given Prof Blakely's public pronouncements in support of lockdowns.....it will be likely that the RC NZ report will say that the govt did a great job in locking up the popn and making injections compulsory.
