Education, one would think, would be a major issue for both parties at the upcoming Queensland State Election. Education, which affects our economic and social wellbeing, and is the second largest spending item by the Queensland State Government. Yet, it has hardly rated a mention or serious consideration by the major parties. As voters, taxpayers and most importantly parents, shouldn’t we expect more and better from our elected representatives on such an important issue.
